AYANEO 3 revealed, featuring AI-powered performance and an OLED display

Published Nov 9, 2024

AYANEO has just unveiled its new flagship Windows handheld, the AYANEO 3.

The latest competitor to go head-to-head with the Steam Deck and ROG Ally will offer a choice between two powerful chipsets: the AMD AI 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen 7 8840U. The device’s 7-inch screen is also available in two options, a high-refresh rate OLED display or an LCD panel.

Key highlights

  • Two processor options: AMD AI 9 HX 370 or Ryzen™ 7 8840U.
  • Two 7-inch screen options: High-refresh rate OLED or LCD.
  • Enhanced controls: New back buttons and adaptive control with trigger lock keys.
  • Upgraded audio: Immersive audio experience with superior front-facing speakers.

We always expect AYANEO to deliver when it comes to design, and the AYANEO 3 is another beautiful piece of tech, with a sleek form factor and ergonomic design that looks like a natural evolution from its predecessor.

The latest model will introduce some new back buttons and adaptive control capabilities with trigger lock keys.

The handheld is also getting a nice upgrade in the audio department, with new front-facing speakers that are set to deliver improved sound quality for a more immersive gaming experience.

While we don’t know the price just yet, that AI-powered processor combined with a vibrant OLED screen is shaping up to be quite the gaming beast, and it probably won’t come cheap!

AYANEO usually runs an Indiegogo campaign with early bird pricing at launch, so that might be the best time to pick one up.
